We offer a full range of drink, and proudly feature the largest selection of Irish whiskeys in the area.
Unlike its Scottish brother, spelled "whisky," Irish Whiskey is distilled three times (scotch just twice). Many scotches also introduce peat smoke at some point in the distilling process, which gives the resulting drink its characteristic smoky overtones. Irish whiskey is noted for its smoother flavor and cleaner finish.
Rumors that this makes a hangover less likely are, alas, merely rumors. Rumors that this makes Irish whiskey less interesting than their Scottish brothers are simply incorrect: whiskeys are every bit as complex and rewarding. Try a few and you'll see.
Whiskey is best drunk neat, at room temperature, in a snifter or an old fashioned glass. It should be savored, giving time for reflection and good conversation; however, if you're in a rush, there's no harm putting it in your coffee!
