Not that we're fans of TOO much goings on at The Pub, but this is the place to stop by and check about upcoming events, special occasions, and other items of interest.
Murder most foul made it's way into the otherwise friendly confines of The Pub on the evening of Saturday, April 25, when we played host to our first Murder Mystery Party.
It was quite a sight, with most revelers dressed in period costume from the Roaring 20's.
We hope everyone had as much fun as we did (though we suppose the deceased might take exception) and we anticipate similar events in the near future. We believe the guilty party was apprehended, though we were too busy making sure that dinner was served and that pints were pulled to be sure.
Apologies to those patrons that could not be accomodated on the night but we hope to see you at future events. Of course, you are welcome to schedule your own event, as well!
The Pub would like to offer organizations throughout the community the opportunity to utilize our unique facility in your fund raising efforts.
As is the case with all businesses, we are continuously being approached for donations and gift certificates to help raise funds for school groups, churches, sports clubs and all of the numerous charities in the Lake Country area and beyond.
This year, rather than give one small donation, we are opening up our Monday nights to all community based fund-raisers in the following capacity:
When your fund-raising group reserves a particular Monday night as your fund-raising night, we will donate 20% of all our food sales for that night back to you. The more people that turn out - the more it helps your cause.
Reservations are requested and guests should mention your organization.
We would be happy to feature a special menu item if that would help you focus your fund-raiser ( e.g. Monday Fish Fry, BBQ Ribs, Broiled Lobster, Corned Beef). The options are yours.
We hope that you will take advantage of this offer and we look forward to helping you with your fundraising endeavor.
Sincerely,
Aelred and Bernie Gannon

This should not be seen as a sign of the apocalypse, but The Pub now has an RSS feed, so you can keep up to date on news and take a quick peek at the weekly specials, hot off the presses.
We keep an updated map on our FIND US page that shows you how to get around it.
Americans get a giggle out of this word, which is pronounced the same as a highly illegal substance. In Ireland, there's nothing illegal about it! It simply means "a good time," which can be had in many ways without (necessarily) breaking any laws. When used in the phrase "what's the craic," it also means news, or better yet, gossip.
